Service Adviser Responsibilities:

• Service writers are responsible for building strong customer relationships and selling the technician's time.
  • Greet and consult customers on service needs.
    • Perform a thorough vehicle walk around inspection as part of the write-up, sell and up sell services by emphasizing value.
      • Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of progress.
        • Field all live service calls, and take ownership of the customers experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave an impressionable experience with the customer.
        • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards
          
          Service Adviser Qualifications:
          
          
          • Must have previous experience working as a service writer.
            • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
              • Must be willing to work weekends.
                • Must have basic computer skills.
                • Auto industry preferred
                • Must be at least 21 years of age
                  
                  Must have a valid driver's license for the past at least 3 consecutive years
                  
                  Must have or be able to get a Texas driver's license
                  
                  Must have a clean driving record
