Role Mission: The Student Performance & Advocacy Application Administrator will help lead the implementation of the district vision for family engagement, social emotional learning for students and families and crisis intervention. This role will lead effective systems management so that our campuses will be able to most effectively communicate with parents and implement a successful SEL curriculum to help build skills students need to be successful to and through college. Through this work, IDEA can achieve the goal of 100% of our students are accepted and matriculate to college.



Accountabilities:

100% of IDEA Public School stakeholders have access to the systems they need to ensure strong family engagement and communication with parent on all campuses across the organization (Systems will include REMIND and SMORE)

  • Completes 95% of Zen desk tickets within 24 hours for REMIND and SMORE
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of designated systems to ensure 100% of users have access to the tools required for communicating with parents within 48 hours
  • Executes the yearly roll over and updating of assigned systems to prepare for the following school year by loading school, user and student information ensuring the system is ready 2 weeks prior to the first day of school
  • Maintains the data within the systems as it pertains to students and users and sites.
  • Once a month, deactivate user accounts for staff who have left the organization.
  • Builds strong business partnerships with national marketing and communications team to increase consistency in messaging across the organization.
  • Creates and updates training resources and materials that support campuses team members in using the systems
  • Tracks staff member systems usage and utilizes operating mechanisms for accountability use; reports out at SPA Tactical for action planning

    • Tracks staff member usage and utilizes operating mechanisms for accountability use; reports out at SPA Tactical for action planning

      Monitors and manages persistence data to ensure 95% accuracy in reporting persistence in the organization
      • Completes regular data auditing of persistence data (weekly reports, monthly updates, coding errors).
      • Participates in business partnership meeting with Software Development, Enrollment, Research and PEIMS teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency in coding.
      • Completes the weekly data reporting boards for district wide reporting such as HQ weekly, SPA data board, and the counselor newsletter.
      • Manages the tracking and reporting of recapture data, leaver, and re-registration data throughout the year to ensure accuracy
      • Partners with software development and Student Performance team to identify errors and investigate discrepancies in data.
      • Complete weekly report on priority campuses that are below benchmarks

        95% completion on parent and student surveys administered throughout the year
        • Manages the logistical execution of the Student Social Emotional Curriculum Impact Survey in the Fall and the Spring
        • Ensures that 95% of students complete the survey through strong business partnerships with the national team and campus School Counselors/Student Success Advisors
        • Manages the execution of the Parent and Student Survey (TCP survey) administered once per year to ensure completion across all schools
        • Provides support to the Manager of Family Engagement and Manager of Student Advocacy to train counselors and campus team members on survey administration



          100% completion of coding for At-Risk students
          • Manage the execution and data tracking of the at-risk coding process across all IDEA Public Schools by the deadline in the annual operating plan
          • Ensures all campuses, across states meet the deadlines for at-risk coding impacting each schools and the districts accountability ratings
          • Supports in the development of training and resources that will guide the campuses on completing the identification and data entry for at-risk coding
          • Develops strong business partnerships with the PEIMS team to support schools in completing the at-risk coding accurately and within the deadline set
          • Maintains coding compliance in relation to relevant legislation for at-risk students (e.g. McKinney-Vento Act, Every Student Succeeds Act) to inform programming and support services

            Maintains operating calendar and tasks for Student Performance and Advocacy Team
            • Lead and manage the organization and invites for national team meetings and nationally led trainings
            • Support with maintenance of the National Team TEAMS channel
            • Lead maintenance of student support staff directory
            • Lead the organization and dissemination of SPA team weekly newsletter to all schools and leaders
            • Lead and manage the calendar reminders for school counselors and social workers
            • Support with beginning of year and mid-year hiring and onboarding scheduling and logistics
            • Support with managing and updating SPA team Hubsite

                Qualifications:
                • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
                • Experience: 2+ years experience in schools preferred.
                • Experience: data tracking and management preferred. Knowledge and Skills:

                  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills .
                  • Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations.

                  • Strong ability to work in multiple tasks and projects at the same time and provide guidance to multiple users to plan and implement projects in a fast-paced environment Compensation:
                    Salaries for people entering this role typically start between $51,900 and $61,800, commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on individual and organizational goal attainment.
