Job Description:
Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the System Human
Resources Director and Corporate Compensation Director, prepares
and analyzes compensation data and market trends to support the
annual budget process and periodic requests for information. Makes
recommendations for revisions to overall wage and salary program
and in response to requests for market adjustments. Maintains and
analyzes job descriptions and makes recommendations for appropriate
wage grade placement. Administers the annual review process.
Administers and monitors compliance with system - wide compensation
policies and procedures. Audits HRIS data to insure compliance with
job code table, supervisory codes, employment status, FTE values
and other Lawson data entry parameters. Assists with special
projects as required by System Human Resources Director.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:1. 3-5 years of relevant compensation experience.2.
Knowledge of current computer software.3. Good communication
skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi task.4.
Skilled in analyzing job content and job description development5.
Knowledge of standard generally accepted compensation practices.6.
Detailed knowledge of State and Federal Wage and Hour
regulations.7. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's
Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all
policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at
required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance
issue(s) to the Compliance Officer. EDUCATION / LICENSURE:1.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field.
