Job Description Job Description Job Summary Escandon Diagnostic Clinic is a private established practice with a large patient population located in Mission, TX. We are looking for an energetic, positive and patient person to fill in our Full-Time Nurse Practitioner position immediately. Candidate must be Spanish speaking and possess a strong work ethic. Escandon Diagnostic Clinic is searching for the perfect fit who is dedicated to treating our patients with respect. A focus on time management is key for the success of the candidate. Experience in a high-volume clinic is preferred. Responsibilities and Duties Perform routine checkups on patients. Keep detailed notes of the patient. Provide quality healthcare to patients. Take part in further education opportunities. Treat patients in the office for minor injuries. Perform minor procedures. Create a care plan for a patient. Analyze reports, test results, medical records, and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions. Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that allergy information is up to date before prescribing medication/treatment. Adhere to clinic policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws. Record complete, timely and legible medical records. Qualifications and Skills NP degree from accredited institution. Exceptional time management and attention to detail. Great communication skills to talk with patients about treatment options. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Focused on excellent patient care.
