Job Description:
Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.Sterilizing
equipment and instruments.Stocking adequate supplies for
surgery.Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting
incision sites.Providing support during surgery by passing
instruments and other supplies.Tracking surgical supplies.Staying
up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and
procedures.Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses
and general surgical team.Helping provide great patient care.
Requirements
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) CertificationMust
have a certificate of completion from Surgical Technologist program
or military training program and maintain.Must have and maintain
current BLS certification, according to unit specific
needs.Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of
the AHA,for Healthcare Provider's ProgramMUST LIVE MORE THAN 100
MILES FROM THE FACILITY
